The World Rugby Hall of Fame recognizes special achievement and contribution to the sport of rugby union. Among the new faces to be inducted into the hall of fame 2021 is Kenyan former Rugby legend Humphrey Kayange. Humphrey is the first East African to be listed in 164-person list of world rugby luminaries.

President Uhuru Kenyatta lauded Kayange for being one of the 6 new inductees in class of 2021.

“The feat is a global honour of the star’s contribution to the rise of rugby in Kenya and challenge to upcoming players to emulate the 39-year old’s exploits,” Kenyatta said
